Lazzlo (they/them) is from the Bay Area and continues to live and work on ancestral Ohlone land. They have years of farming experience, including time on a community-centered farm in West Sacramento. Lazzlo served as a co-organizer of Sankofa Market, a Black farmers market uplifting local growers and food producers. In addition to their farming work, Lazzlo specializes in marketing and branding for small farms and mission-driven businesses, bringing creative strategy to community-rooted enterprises. Their work is grounded in food sovereignty and Black agricultural traditions.
