Volunteer with us!

The 3-acre Land Commons is an educational hub for BAFFT participants and community members to grow professionally and deepen their relationships with the land and each other. We welcome students, corporate/ working groups, gardeners, foodies and agri-newbies alike to support with tending hedgerows, making compost, weeding, seed saving and more!

The Land Commons is located on a southwest facing slope in El Sobrante, CA where there is no sidewalk or paved access to or on the farm. While the terrain currently limits the accessibility of the space, we would love to discuss how we can provide accessibility support for different abilities, our elders, injuries, etc. and help us vision what accessibility infrastructure could improve inclusivity!

Questions regarding our volunteer program can be directed to farm@agroecologycommons.org; we hope to see you soon!
