Winter 2026 Newsletter
As we enter this new cycle, we find ourselves holding both gratitude and weariness. This has been a beautiful and, at times, deeply challenging season for Agroecology Commons. Like so many in our communities, we have been navigating a landscape where forward-facing, values-driven agricultural work is increasingly under attack.
Giving Tuesday: Rooted Together, We Rise
As we come to a close of another season, we reflect on the seeds we’ve planted, the soil we’ve tended, and the community that has held us through a year unlike any other.
While we have much to be grateful for, this year has also been one of the hardest we’ve faced as a small, cooperatively-led nonprofit working for food sovereignty, land justice, and farmer-to-farmer education.
Farmer Wellness Day
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Farmer-Market Convening! This gathering is designed to connect BIPOC farmers with values-aligned market representatives, fostering relationships that strengthen our local food systems.

Fall Volunteer Day, Rain Catchment Skillshare, CDFA Grants
We're here to tell you about some exciting events we have coming up these next few months! We’ve got a Volunteer day on October 22nd from 10am-4pm. Our team could use some support with turning over beds and hedgerow care. We are moving into cover cropping and garlic planting for the cold season.
The Seasons Are Changing
As summer winds down, we’re reflecting with gratitude on all that’s been growing — from apprenticeships and skillshares to new projects on the farm and big steps forward in our fight for justice. We’re excited to share some updates, stories, and celebrations from the summer with you!
