Our collective
Our collective is built on relationships with each other, with the land, and with the movements we are part of. Agroecology Commons is not led by one person, but by many: we share responsibility, make decisions cooperatively, and support one another in building a just and sustainable food system
Collective Members
Our Collective at Agroecology Commons is made up of a team of co-directors who share responsibility for guiding the work. Each brings different skills and lived experience, but decisions are made cooperatively, with leadership distributed across the group.
This shared model of co-directorship reflects our belief that no single person should carry the work alone. Through cooperative governance circles from land stewardship, fundraising, and wellness, we practice the values we hold: collaboration, accountability, and collective care.
